Who you’ll be
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Learning & Development professional with in-person training experience to join our growing Solar L&D team. Reporting into the L&D Lead, you’ll be based out of our Brighton office, so will need to be able to work both independently and collaboratively with our wider L&D team across our sites in Birmingham and Manchester. You’ll have a passion for people development with excellent communication and organisational skills.

What you’ll do

  • Support the L&D team with the creation, iteration, and delivery of induction and refresher programs.
  • Work together with L&D professionals in both our Solar and Low Carbon Technology division to promote a consistent and supportive learning culture for our customer facing teams.
  • Update and innovate existing training materials to ensure best practice and accuracy is maintained.
  • Play a key role in driving our culture, values, and customer obsession forward.

What you’ll need

  • Previous Learning & Development experience; being able to demonstrate your ability to design and deliver learning solutions in a variety of formats to varying audiences.
  • Experience of using Google Suite (docs, sheets & slides).
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues based across multiple locations in the UK.
  • Experience in coordinating project plans and working to deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, familiar with communicating cross functionally across the business, and in front of a large audience.
  • A start up / entrepreneurial mind-set, and being able to adjust to change and keep up with a fast moving business
  • Passion for helping others be their best, with a growth mindset and resilience in a high-paced and rapidly changing environment.

What would be beneficial

  • Previous experience in coaching and mentoring.
  • Flexibility to travel to our different sites.
