The Octopus Asia Investments team is looking for an Investment Analyst Intern to support the team in evaluating opportunities in the energy transition sector. Based in Singapore, the role is to primarily provide support to the team in transaction execution, asset management and initiatives to drive business growth.

What you'll do

  • Provide support in the deal execution process, including deal evaluation, due diligence, sensitivity analysis and financial modelling
  • Assist in preparing materials for evaluation by the Investment Committee
  • Assist with ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies
  • Conduct corporate and industry research
  • Provide support on administrative tasks

What you'll need

  • Strong academic qualifications with experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity or renewable energy consultancy
  • Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Driven, self-starter with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and team spirit
  • Willing to commit to 6 months full time internship
