Octopus Energy Services is spearheading the transition to greener, cheaper energy through the installation of in-home technologies; from smart meters and EV chargers; to low carbon heating, home batteries, solar, and beyond. We deliver smart energy, low carbon solutions for our customers.
We’ve fallen head-over-heels with heat pumps - which provide an ultra-efficient, reliable alternative to gas boilers.
We're looking for an Operations Delivery Manager in the South of England. As the Operations Delivery Manager, you will support the Regional Operations Director in overseeing the operational delivery across multiple regions. Your primary responsibility is to assist in ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service when transitioning to low-carbon heating.

What you'll do

  • Support Strategic Leadership: You will assist the Regional Operations Director in providing strategic direction and leadership to the Regional Operations Managers, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall strategy.
  • Resource Optimization: You will support the optimal utilisation of multi-skilled teams across all regions, empowering Regional Operations Managers to flex resources as needed to deliver the best customer outcomes.
  • Assist in Performance Management: You will help monitor the performance of all regions, including key metrics such as utilisation, weekly install throughput, team satisfaction, and retention.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with other regional managers and departments, including Sales, Install Support, Compliance, Supply Chain, Recruitment, and Training to support the development and implementation of a cohesive regional strategy.
  • Customer Experience Support: You will assist in overseeing the customer experience across all regions, ensuring that agreed targets for wait times, install success and overall customer satisfaction are met.
  • Team Support: You will help foster a high-performance, data-driven culture, supporting a team of Regional Operations Managers to deliver performance, share best practices, and drive innovation across all regions. Working with data/business analysts to ensure the highest value opportunities are prioritised and pursued
  • Quality & Compliance: You will work with the Compliance Team to ensure that all work is delivered to a safe, high standard with a mindset of continuous improvement.
