This role will be working as part of the Collective where we’re bringing people together to fight climate change by creating an abundance of clean, green electrons to supply the future generation with zero emission electricity.
For decades, energy projects like wind and solar have been full of friction, owned by corporate organisations and pushed into communities who, because they saw little benefit, did not want them.
The Collective brings a new wave of renewable energy projects where sites have been identified by our customers, can be owned by everyone (institutions AND people) and where people who live locally receive cheaper electricity when the wind blows or the sun shines.
Together we’ll shake up the world of renewable energy generation.
We looking for a creative communicator with a passion for copy-writing, marketing and creating tactical stories.
Your stories need to paint a picture of our mission and the awesome products we provide to make generation easier to fund, build and understand. This role will also support our growing business supply division that works with thousands of SMEs and corporate customers.

What you'll do ...

  • Work closely with the generation, compliance, and activation teams
  • Create engaging and informative content for website, social media, newsletters, annual reports and develop other comms channels
  • Work with our marketing, digital, and compliance teams to promote our products in a targeted way
  • Create blogs helping to set the wider market context behind our products
  • Create case studies of how our products support customers - both written and video
  • Formulate creative plans to support our regulated products

What you'll need ...

  • A proven passion for marketing/comms
  • A wide range of experience ideally with an agency/consultancy background - ideally 3 - 4 years of experience
  • Write inspiring copy that really engages with target audiences
  • Experience working within regulated environments
  • An understanding of the suite of tools within the marcomms universe that will be able to engage widely across a range of audiences including our business customers, Fan Club communities and customer-investors
  • Strategic thinking, research, and planning abilities
