We’re looking for an enthusiastic Events Executive to join our Events team in an exciting role within a growing part of Octopus EV. You’ll represent Octopus EV in person, hosting client events to increase awareness of salary sacrifice and consideration among potential EV drivers.

You’ll need to be passionate about an electric future and keen to keep up-to-date on the latest news surrounding electric vehicles and the Octopus Group.

You’ll be the face of our brand, having exciting and informative conversations with potential customers. Answering their questions, busting EV myths and helping people understand how salary sacrifice works.

What you'll do...

Showcase some of the latest electric vehicles on the market and educate clients on the latest tech and exciting features
Give outstanding customer service, offering support and advice to current and future customers
Myth bust, debate and offer a well-educated perspective on electric vehicles and a greener future
You’ll travel across the country alongside our other Events Executive hosting in-person, virtual, and hybrid events
Manage events logistics - hosting and overseeing the set-up and de-rig of any marketing stands and materials
Liaise with clients directly, event planners, production teams and event support staff to ensure a smooth running of the event
Provide support to your team with managing the company car fleet used for events and businesses purposes
Report on event performance and provide key feedback to the wider team

What you'll need...

A full UK drivers licence for at least 1 year is essential
Knowledge of electric vehicles and how our salary sacrifice scheme works is beneficial
A passion for creating awesome customer experiences
Willingness to do long distance driving and often stay away during the week
Confidence in holding 1-2-1 conversations and presenting to a group audience both in-person and virtually
Experience working in a very fast paced team, showing an entrepreneurial mind-set, being able to adjust to change and keep up with a fast moving business
A willingness to learn from others and work as a team to produce results
Organisational skills and an ability to make on the spot decisions at events
A positive attitude and hands-on approach to event planning and delivery, with a particular eye for detail
No previous events experience required
