Borrow is a VC-backed electric vehicle subscription startup that offers a low-commitment way to drive an EV. Our goal is to make EV’s universally accessible using a flexible model of ownership that appeals to the modern consumer while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and creating a pathway to the decarbonization of the daily commute. We are currently raising our Series A-1 and are looking for a hungry, motivated doer to help our fundraising process as part of a larger team.

We're scaling a new funding process focused on VCs as well as federal, state and local stakeholders in the EV, mobility, cleantech and greentech spaces.

Requirements:
You are a creative thinker who is good with data, marketing, finances and business development.

You are an extremely good communicator (written and spoken) who can make presentations and proposals online and in-person.

You have an ability to prioritize, take direction, and work independently on projects.

You take ownership over tasks, end-to-end.

You are a self-starter with strong instincts, attention to detail and work well with deadlines.

You are proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office and can quickly learn new tools (like Notion, Airtable, etc).

You can manage simultaneous projects with little supervision.

Experience managing CRMs is preferred.

Ability to work in Python/build scrapers is a plus.

Day-to-day:
Identify VC firms, Angel Investors, financiers and governmental entities that align with Borrow’s cleantech and mobility missions.

Take notes on pitch meetings, develop decks, refine our story and work on IR outreach.

Strategize with our founder on fundraising tactics.

Commitment:
initially 15 hours per week, unpaid
Expectation of moving to paid (full or part-time) in 3-6 months
